By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using Tuitionwing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Early access
Tuitionwing is in early access. It is free, invitation-only and still changing. We decide who is let in and when, and features may change or stop working. We may remove access, for example if these terms are broken.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Give accurate information, keep your password private, and use one account for yourself only.
What Tuitionwing is, and is not
- It is a tool that suggests scholarships you may qualify for, based on what you tell us.
- Scholarship details (amounts, deadlines and requirements) are collected from public pages and checked by a person before we show them, but they can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Always confirm on the scholarship provider's official page before you apply. Do not rely on us for a deadline or a requirement.
- A match is not a promise that you qualify or will win. We do not apply for you, and we are not connected to the scholarship providers.
- We do not give financial, tax, legal or admissions advice.
- We never charge application fees. Be careful with any award that asks you to pay to apply.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tuitionwing to break the law, to enter false information, to copy or scrape it in bulk, to try to get around limits or security, to interfere with the service or other users, or to attempt to reverse engineer it.
Your feedback
If you send us a problem report or suggestion, we may use it to improve the service without owing you anything.
Ownership
Scholarship information belongs to its providers. The Tuitionwing software, design and name belong to us. You keep ownership of your own answers, and you let us use them to run the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
Links to other sites
We link to scholarship providers' pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
No warranty
Tuitionwing is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises about accuracy, availability or that it will meet your needs.
Limit on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed deadlines or scholarships. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
Ending your use
You can stop using Tuitionwing at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the service changes.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date above, and using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, and disputes will be handled in its courts, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
